Giving up

I have chosen to give up on my dreams, I can’t do it anymore, I need to find something else that makes me happy. I went to school for fashion design, I tried getting a job in it and despite having all the qualifications I still got rejected for a job. I know this happens a lot in every field but at the end of the day no job in this field will pay me a decent living wage. I just want to make money at this point and I don’t care if I’m miserable at my job.

I feel like this too...I now have a job that its is decent enough, even quite good in many ways, some days I like it, and I realised actually, I dont mind working, but I have reached a point where I am just willing to work my life out, do my job, I have no interest in becoming anything more than the bottom rung, I do not care, I do my work, and go home, no stress, no complications, and hopefully reach a retirement, get my pension and then hopefully have some life left to actually enjoy things properly without being a slave to the system and just working to pay ever increasing taxes for what seems like just to pay those who have figured out they dont have to work, so more taxes for us who do work, thats what I hate about working now.
