Gavin Newsome

Governor Gavin Newsome's really elevating his profile for POTUS 2028 with the Trump parody tweets, but he's poking the bear for no good reason except to benefit himself. Only the court actions he's instituted offer the possibility of pushback against Trump's actions in his state of California, not tweets. Newsome must have forgotten "the Big One" is overdue, a 66% chance of happening soon. And seems like odds are always in Trump's favor: the Devil takes care of his own and he's been taking really good care of Trump. Not good for Newsome's 2028 POTUS hopes or even remaining on as governor because Trump's level responsiveness to a CA catastrophic earthquake will likely be contingent on Newsome being removed as governor as payback for the mockery. Newsome might have survived the 2021 recall, but desperate Californians will throw his ass out of office with quickness if he is standing between them and the aid they need in the aftermath of a catastrophic earthquake.
