Fuck you

Nobody yells about narcissism more than a narcissist. Seriously, if someone starts bitching about all the narcissists in their lives and how everyone has been so abusive, boo hoo, I guarantee they're the narcissist.

Among other issues, nearly nobody knows what a narcissist is anymore. It's just become a fancy word for somebody who hurt your feefees. 'Oh God, he won't buy me the new iPhone, what a narcissist.' 'She told me I have to be quiet after 10pm if I'm going to live here, what a narcissist.'

I've had narcissists in my life, definitely, but I've also had a lot of good people who couldn't or didn't want to do everything I hoped. I've had people in my life who were nasty but they weren't narcissists, they were just mean. That's the kind of life most of us are living. Some people have more than their share of real NPD characters showing up, but you know they're not the problem if they vent a little but then move the fuck on.

Narcissists on the other hand will bitch forever about other people being narcissists and never even think "hmmm I wonder why this keeps happening. What's my part in this?"

And that's what I'm having to deal with at this point. Yeah someone is complaining I'm a narcissist, because I had the audacity to say I was fed up with his behavior. He had two working ears and a brain but wasn't listening to a damn thing I said so I told him in not so many words to either behave like a person who was raised in society or fuck off. He turned that into a war and has now lumped me in with dozens of other "narcissists" that have made his life so awful. What that means to you is up to you to say, but in my mind it suggests something negative about him.
