Fuck Corewell Heatlh

Fuck it, I'll name them. They're throughout the state now. Fucking trying to deny diabetics regular visits required to maintain prescriptions over a fucking secondary ID card that takes 5-10 days to come in the mail. The state used to not send them out at all. They used to tell us to tell them to use CHAMPS because the fucking card doesn't even determine eligibility. They'll start arguments over shit like this to deny access to metformin, insulin, and even surgery to patch a fucking PFO because it all might marginally impact their bottom line.

Something something bottom feeder, but tons of people are on medicaid and many of them do actually work. I guaran-fucking-tee if they don't have a card or are even the smallest, slightest inconvenience for Corewell they get turned away too. Corewell also owns the largest insurer in the state, and outsourced Priority Health's customer service recently too. From what I hear the plan for being an employee of Corewell health is shit now too. It was pretty solid when I worked in their supply chain, but we had to worry about techs, doctors, and so on taking our 40 hours. They'd people like techs dealing with covid patients too lazy to change their scrubs before leaving the hospital their OT rate. We made like $15.75 in the warehouse and rarely got OT. These techs were making bank and because the shift was "voluntary" were getting OT or even double time. They said it themselves. Shit, there were doctors making more in a night than we'd make in a month because they took an unnecessary voluntary shift, and were getting OT for it.

The warehouse wasn't anywhere near as hard pressed as they pretended. We'd often be done with our shift's work an hour or two ahead of time. That was without volunteers, and volunteers often slowed us down because they're fucking retarded and don't belong anywhere near a fucking supply chain.

That's your healthcare system though. They want the publicity that comes from denying covered people prescriptions and care. Since it's not an ER visit it's totally legal too. And you people enable this bullshit and say people like me need to be institutionalized. The fuck do you expect when people like me gotta fucking fight just to get out of the fucking bed in the morning because you people have determined it's too fucking expensive? Shit, I probably don't even need metformin or visits like many diabetics because I'm usually on top of my shit. I had to get an emergency surgery because I was killing myself working 3rd, and that's the only reason I need a fucking visit.

Can't imagine actually struggling out here because people will tell you to work harder instead of addressing the actual fucking problem: the greedy ass system. They could use Zoom to announce when they merged with Belmont even though it had nothing to do with the supply chain in my region, but the CEO needed a fucking fleet of brand new cars so she could drive from the west side of michigan to the east side. No raises, no new benefits, nothing for the supply chain folks. All sorts of bonuses and increases for the fucking CEO though for the brilliant move of merging with a bankrupted hospital.

And they were so proud of themselves too when they were telling us the union would be limited to only Belmont buildings. You people really out here enabling this shit and telling people to work harder because of their bullshit.

And it's a real fucking problem. I went through a life saving surgery in the ER just fine. They billed me just fine, except for a single fucking unit of insulin that one of the doctors gave me. They aren't even precisely sure when they gave me this specific unit, but for some reason they couldn't just bill medicaid the same way they did everything else. They needed my card because the one on file has been expired for about a year.

Wasn't a problem while in the ER.
Wasn't a problem when they billed for all the expensive shit.
But this single fucking unit of insulin was a problem.

And I worked in the warehouse. They fired my ass for having a stroke due to a protein s deficiency (luckily no DPT) and a pfo. They needed people in the warehouse too badly to let someone recover, and even had my PCP who was through their hospital system try to argue that a stroke survivor can immediately get back to work. There's still noticeable weakness on the other side of my body, but if they had given me a little time I could've gone back. That was too much to ask.

The fuck

and please tell me the feminist tag is wrong.

Whitmer enables this shit.
Just like there's tens of thousands of people in detroit without power because DTE and her administration has approved every requested rate increase they've made.

When Oracle decided to sue a small town to build a data center, who supported them? Whitmer. She's even on record saying something along the lines of "fuck them, do it anyway."

But you know, it's only republicans or conservatives or something.
