sadly that's kinda how it is with most fandoms when they get popular, it will bring good and bad people to it :( Like with TADC itself is a whole other thing, but the fandom itself was such a nice place when it was just the pilot and still small. As time passed and they released more episodes, it obviously got more popular, and probably more popular than the creator expected. To put anything online and having to deal with the bad side of a fandom, You gotta either address it and hope the ones with braincells do something and the bad eggs stop doing bad things or leave the fandom. Or hell, maybe reaching out to other posters and asking for advice about managing a following could help! And that's what the art community should do instead of putting others or themselves down, honestly.

If you want to post about your OC's and writings to life, by all means do it! If it ever does get popular, be happy and thankful for it, and if it doesn't, that's fine as well (if you're not looking to get popular, that is)! Even if you do end up hating it, at least you tried it out and/or you can look back at it and remember the good times you had while making it! Don't let others ruin a passion, or just something you merely want to try <3
