why is it hard to find genuinely normal people nowadays? every other person has an online audience of a dire need for attention and validation and it seems i cant find anyone who is just normal / doesnt care for it. be it for friendships or relationships. everyones so busy with their online profiles that it feels weird if we arent clued into it like others and ik folk who cant put their phone down for a second to have their meal away from the screen. yes im ranting on one device but i need to say it somewhere because i feel like every other person is just so attention seekywe cant even have a nornal or mellow personality without being forced to endure everyone elses behaviours that they normalise like youtubers instagrams tiktok etc

and so many people are so much more shadier via our screen even if in reality they can be worse than what they want us to believe. if its all through a screen or cameras then how much narcissism does a person need to have a whole audience? most kf them arent even real celebrities either its made up in their heads
