Dismissive doctor and possible POTS

I have been suffering for coming into 3 months now with what I have been told is POTS, every doctor I have seen has said that they believe it is POTS and I have had tests that indicate that it is POTS and so I went to see a specialist for an official diagnosis.

The only test he did was a blood pressure test that he wasn’t even there for.
He ignored and didn’t write down most of the symptoms I told him.
He ignored and cut me off whenever I tried to tell him something or explain something he asked me.
And he said it’s all in your head.

I have been suffering for months I can’t even so much as walk from my bed to the kitchen some days without getting dizzy or falling.
Even on some of my best of days I can’t even do more then walk otherwise I fall or feint or get really to feeling really ill.
While walking my heart rate goes up to 160 at times and my blood pressure just drops.

I might just be unlucky though when I went to this doctor I was having my best day I have ever had I was able to walk around with only a little bit of unbalance and nausea all day and I didn’t fall once.
My blood pressure was good and my heart rate was low even when walking.
That probably reflected in the test they did that day and is probably why he said what he said.


Now I need to wait 7 more weeks until I get final results from testing and who knows if they will even turn out right.

The worst part is the doctor who told me it was in my head got to me and I tried to convince myself I was fine and tried just running a little bit.
I fell and couldn’t get up for 40 minutes.

I have had to put my uni study and my whole life on hold.

The worst part is even if I get the diagnosis and get meds I will never be able to live a normal life again.

I feel like I had my so much of my Independence taken away and I am only 20
