Dave Chappelle

I can't stand his current comedy, and the whole schtick he gave around the time of Chappelle's Show all was apparently a lie.

All he does now is sit there smoking a cigarette, while telling one-sided and likely exaggerated/madeup sob stories of how "Comedy Central screwed me" and "I was young and someone stole my joke after I thought I was helping them." He sounds like a bitter drunk.

Boo fucking hoo. I doubt he ever worked a real job. His parents worked at a university. He didn't grow up like Eminem or other people who actually did have to fight to make it somewhere. And the whole thing of even being ABLE to go off on his own as a teenager to pursue a career, THAT is a pretty big fucking privilege right there.

Then how he did that halfassed George Floyd special where he made it all about him, that was sickening. And it's like he is now one of those losers who wants to be surrounded by people younger than he is, because they aren't as likely to see through his shit. The crowds and followers online I see following him these days are people who probably didn't even see Chappelle's Show when it aired, and they are just pretending to like him because of his place on "comedy Mt. Rushmore." There's a reason his longtime fans have grown apathetic.

And getting on SNL to have your ass kissed and to do (very shitty) recreations of Chappelle's Show characters only kills the brand. It's not funny to see Tyrone Biggums or Silky Johnson there just for the sake of being there for five seconds, doing nothing funny. And the smug ass monologues Dave gives about politics, ughhhhh. STFU.
