I am autistic and my special interest is books. I just bought new ones and had put them on my bookshelf in my room. She took them off the bookshelf and put them on the floor to put some of her stuff on MY bookshelf in MY room. She left my door open and saw her dog go in. When she went to give the dog dinner a few minutes later she realized she was still in my room. The dog had destroyed the books. When I got home and she told me I became upset and she told me to get over it and stop acting like a child because they’re just books. I became more upset and started crying and yelled at her saying that she doesn’t care for anyone’s belongings but her own. She called me stupid and ridiculous before she walked off. I’m just really angry and upset because I spent $40 on these books and was really excited to read them. I wish she would pay for the books but I would settle for her saying sorry. She wont even say she’s sorry because she thinks it’s stupid and doesn’t understand why I’m upset.

You can put a dollar price to them, that's good. Don't bother showing emotion. Show it the receipts and leave it at that, if it won't respect your private property it's permission to destroy $40 of its private property. It owes you $40 and paying the money is the only thing that will make it feel sorry. anonymous 1 year ago
This is why I want to put locks on everything, because people do not know how to take responsibility for their own actions and modern society encourages this behavior.
Your sister should've owned up to her mistake and paid to replace those books but we can't expect that in this day and age. So everything will have to be kept under lock and key because everyone especially adults want to be big babies these days and not own up when they screw up. >:-[=]
See if you can get a lock on your door, one that requires an actual key to get in so your sister or her dog won't mess with your stuff. If you can't do that, get some sort of lock box or locking cabinet to put your books in. anonymous 1 year ago
Just saying, but if you're looking for $40 worth of the bitch's property to get rid of, start with your POS sister's POS dog which is by law considered property and likely worth less than $40 bucks, but oh well. And the solution to do it can be found at the Auto Zone and will make the last book the destructive varmint chews up a really sweet treat. anonymous 1 year ago
I'm sorry she did that to you. I'm also autistic and love my books. Mine are all neat and in order and very precious to me so I totally understand. Seems to me like your sister doesn't respect other people's property. As said above, a lock is worth thinking about Anonymous 4 hours ago
