BITTERSWEET
Tomorrow is my last day at a job most of the world would probably think is pretty amazing. I'm a little older, but have recently lost both of my parents. This created a realization that life is, in fact, short and spending any time pursuing things that don't feed our energy is completely fruitless. The job was fine and the pay was incredible, but not particularly stimulating. So, I'm gonna take the summer off and figure it out in the fall.If you're not investing in people, activities, loves and moments that truly feed your energy, you're likely participating in things that drain your energy. It's your energy...don't piss it away. Life is so much more than a career...it's experiences, emotions, feelings and one-off moments that make you who you are!
So, I will miss my coworkers, but this isn't the place for me. Thrive.
