Today was hard. Tonight was harder. My surviving bird, Pippin, is so afraid to be alone. He shrieks whenever anyone who has been chilling out in the living room (where the cage is) leaves. It breaks my heart. He did eat and drink today, but his activity is low. I wish I could pick him up and put him on my shoulder, but he's still very hand shy. The only time he left the cage was to chase after Merry and he only did it once. I'm so, so sad tonight. I'm starting to think I shouldn't have rescued these guys.
