^ Funny thing is I grew up in a Godless home. I clung to this concept of religion because it provided me some concept of order and of evil being punished, and things happening for a reason. It seems to be the reason a lot of white trash like myself clung to it.

It's obvious man made crap. Either that, or everyone who ever lived is seriously fucked. Fucked in different ways "I love you God ::bu-bump:: for eternity, or until God decides it's time to put humanity through another hellish loyalty test, or well, hell.

But having studied the Bible, I conclude it was man made and designed to control people, using carrot and stick. And it's very poorly written at that and it contradicts itself in so many ways. It's absurd that in 2025, peoole are still following it when it should've gone by the wayside when the Dark Ages ended.

Is there a God? Can't say I can prove or disprove one, but I am pushing 49 years and I have yet to hear a "Howdy!", physically from any god type entity.

50 years ago you couldn't be as open as being an absolute fruitcake like now, and going on about aliens and monsters in public was a near guarantee that you would have the men in the white coats come to take you to a padded cell.
