Bernie Sander's Presidential Campaign

I was a volunteer and had access to the slack channel where they'd assign work. They loved me because I was one of the few Americans actually helping the campaign. Most of his volunteers weren't American. They'd comment on how they were shocked that Americans didn't support "common sense" things that are more common in the UK and Canada.

His team wasn't really vetting people or reading our concerns either. I once wanted to add a few numbers back into the pool because something came up and I didn't know I'd click send x1000 quickly enough. I got a copy-pasted message about how the supply was low, and I should be patient for more work or some such. I didn't last long.

Since we're "blowing the lid" on politicians, I figured I'd do my share. Another democrat who was running for a senator role in another state was advertising a role as an unpaid internship, but legally it should've been paid. Her campaign was being run by a highschool student (I wish I was kidding). It was in Oregon or Washington or something. Some backwater district where they had highschool and college students convinced they'll all have solid careers in politics.

Just figured I'd share. I ended up noping out of both campaigns.
