God I hate people who talk about replacing artists with AI. What is wrong with people wanting to replace an already underpaid job with AI, creating soulless work. I don't care whatever you prople say, but I have never enjoyed AI "art". Even though I am personally *for* AI, I think trying to "replace" art with AI is going TOO FAR. Sure. Using it for fun is fine, but saying "get with the times. This will replace you" just shows a complete misunderstanding about what Art really is. The main issue, of course, is the people at the top also most likely have this misunderstanding and will try to use AI to cut costs. Humanity is truly moving towards consumption of pure trash content that's automatically generated.

Don't worry. Ai looks like shit. It looks blurry and half-assed as hell. Ai "art" images always look cheap and fake as hell. And THIS is what people think will take over the world? Fuck no. On a related note, people used AI to "complete" the last painting Keith Haring was working on and.....it looks like shit. anonymous 22 hours ago
Thanks man. It really means a lot to me knowing that not all people think this way. S 22 hours ago
I hope those who use AI. All become sterile and can't have kids. And they get sued heavily into homelessness with their families.
Just congratulated a lady who won a court case against a minor for using her specific works for money. So fuck that kid for stealing.
Hope that kid gets their photos taken and used as deep fakes with ai. anonymous 20 hours ago
They can skip the whole power hungry AI step and just hire a bunch of MAGAs. They are already souless. anonymous 17 hours ago
"God I hate people who talk about replacing artists with AI. "
It's also being used for deception. I went to a clickbait aritcle (yeah, I know) about a man in Panama who was living in a house underwater for 180 days as an experiment. The article showed a nice, big room of a house with panaromic windows in the floor and ceiling, and it looked otherwise like something that would be a simple but modern, upscale house. So intrigued, I looked for articles about how the structure was built, thinking maybe they used an enclosing damn and drain method and built a structure there, which is often done in shallow waters. The structure seemed feasible enough, and I figured that the air pumping system and other equipment was out of view if the camera. Turns out the house was just really nothing more than a stationary submarine, and looked a lot like one too. Bare metal, round portals with visible rivits in the frame, nothing like the picture in the article.
I'm really starting to despise this shit, and the example I mention isn't even the worst of it; not by a long shot. AI has been weaponized to provide rage bait pictures to sway people tward a certain political narriative, and most people don't give these a close enough look to see the garbled text, or warped faces, or other telltale signs of being an AI image. And soon this will be overcome and you won't be able to put trust innany pictures at all. It used to be you had to put in work to fake a phorograph, but now you can do it with a few words at a prompt.
I knew this was comming, people have been warning about this and now it's here. anonymous 17 hours ago
