4 years age gap, with a twist

Hi, I'm a fourth-year college student. I have a professor who's around 26 years old. He's been my professor since our first year, and our class gets along with him really well. In the first year, my interactions with him were normal. But in the past few weeks, it seems like his actions and words towards me are hinting at something.

We chat every day, even after his office hours are over. And guess what... I'm slowly starting to have feelings for him. I'm already 22 years old, by the way. He treats me differently, but not in the way that he's unfair with grades. It's not like that. When I say different, I mean our conversations have become deep. Sometimes we talk about personal issues, and sometimes just random things to have something to talk about.

I'm just scared that my classmates might become suspicious, especially the other professors. I don't know if I'm just imagining things like I'm giving meaning to something that isn't really there, because I haven't asked him if there's any intention or if we're just friends.

We don't have a big age gap, so maybe that's why this is happening. All I can think is to keep this situation low-key, and maybe once I graduate, when that time comes, it might be okay?
