Workplace "friends" the real version
In 99% of instances, this is how it goes.You work with people who you talk to there at the job, then once one of you leave the job, POOF you no longer exist. You come to realize this person never really cared about you to begin with, and that they were pretty much just using you to have someone to talk to while at the job.
Or, you begin to gossip and fraternize with the people who are always asking who drinks and who has a crush on who. Oh, now they're telling the boss that you're an alcoholic and that you and a co-worker have a thing. Whether the boss believes it or not, you now have someone actively trying to get you fired and is telling lies. But wasn't it fun to talk about sex and crushes like a That 70s Show character while you were supposed to be at work? How could anything bad have came from that?!?!?!
Doing anything but work at work is playing with fire.
