Where do we draw the line
I love to read the news. I like to be aware of what is happening in the world. But when the news is overwhelmingly bad, it impacts my mental health. I was very disturbed reading about a 13 year old girl, who got raped by a very powerful person and now is being threatened to be turned into fertilizer. Yes, it is lies. Lies. How is it lies when so many children and women have the same complaint. Women normally hide that they have been through sexual assault. It takes courage because they are shamed.Somewhere, I draw the line and close the computer. I have had enough of reading the news for today.
