United airlines is actually awful

I used to work there and it’s the toxic and damaging place I’ve ever worked. Not only do they undermine you by not paying you during boarding even though you are working but they try and find any reason to fire you once you make a decent wage (meaning you can afford your own place maybe..a cheap one). Why did they fire me? Well, I got my period at work and when I woke up I didn’t feel well and needed to get to work so I didn’t clean the room but didn’t think much of it because I thought well that’s why they have housekeeping but a fee weeks later I’m called into a meeting and some guy I don’t know in Chicago is asking me why did you leave your room like that? I’m like uhh I got my period. He gave me disciplinary points that led to my firing. Honestly I wouldn’t have taken the job if i knew they do sex discrimination. The whole reason he and everyone else is here is because women have periods and carry you until you are born so I’m insulted and I wouldn’t even fly United after realizing how awful they truly are.
