Trump's $20B To Argentina

This is so batshit crazy... Trump's giving $20B to Argentina w/ a future $20B possibly in the future. Trump's levied such high tariffs on China that they've retaliated w/ their own tariffs, making US soybeans, of which they buy most of the crop, too expensive. So US soybean farmers who have nowhere to sell their soybean are not going to get paid, while Argentina will be getting paid $7B by China for theirs, and Argentina will be taking in more money than projected because China will now be buying massive amounts of soybeans from them.

Argentina's economy is such a chronic basket case from overspending more than it takes in from taxes to fund their government subsidies, universal healthcare being one of them. But Trump & his Maga crowd oppose US universal healthcare, but are fine with subsidizing it for Argentina, and are unwilling to even continue the ACA sunsetting subsidies to keep their US citizen from getting hit with exponentially higher premiums come 2025 Open Enrollment in just a few weeks. Trump's SecTreas has called the $20B a lifeline Argentina is expected to pay back. Good luck with that! Everyone knows loaning broke ass friends money means you'll never see that money again.
