I am getting real tired of this dark pattern always having to fight the UI bullshit going on. It's all about being controlled by others, not a "User eXperience". In fact, everything went off the rails when they started using this term instead of "user interface". It's trying to become the digital version of S&M"Oh yeah, baby! More whips and chains!
