Take the L and move on!

It's so fucking annoying when a customer doesn't have money on their debit card and keeps trying to magically make their card work instead of just admitting that they're broke.

And no, I'm not saying he has to admit it to anyone except himself!

Like, I as the cashier already have a hunch after you attempted it 3-8 times. Swiping it a 9th time and swearing that you have enough money isn't gonna magically put money on your bank account!

The best thing you can do is ask me to cancel your order or suspend it.

And if you're waiting for a handout from me, you sure as hell ain't getting one because twinkies, cigarettes, and a 12 pack of beer don't count as needs in my book and I ain't got enough money to give to strangers who haven't done anything for me.

The old version of me used to feel bad but not anymore. I don't get paid enough for anyones puppy dog eyes to give a damn.

It's how these customers start trying to blame me that pisses me off. I have no control over your fucking bank account or how much cash you have in your wallet. That's a YOU problem.
