Sometimes you take one look at somebody

Sometimes you take one look at somebody

... And you know they're gonna be trouble.

You're a nice person, you try to be fair with people, so you ask yourself, "now how much sense does that make?! I don't know this person. They could become my best friend for all I know."

But every time you look at them the same alarm goes off in your head. "That one is trouble."

But you tell yourself that's dumb and you keep interacting. They seem to be doing everything right for a while, then something just doesn't sit right. Still, life is long and lonely and hard and boring, so you tell yourself to stop being a judgemental twat and realize that you can either be a hermit, or you can let yourself like and love imperfect people.

That one thing still stands out in your mind, though. And then something else happens. But you have been having a decent time otherwise so you force yourself to ignore that too.

Then things really pile up. You finally say something about something. They have excuses for everything and that feels like shit too. But it's a good relationship, right? Let it go.

Ahh but now they're pissed off because you dared speak up so the shit piles higher. And you realize you were right all along.

You sound like someone trying to justify a crime. It's not going to work!

The law doesn't allow for an "intuition" defence!

It just doesn't!

Nowhere in the law books does it say that you're justified in going on a neverending crime spree because you had a "feeling". Get a fucking lawyer, bitch!

Intuition is not a fucking defence!

And you can't argue that your intuition was right either. Know why? Because you started it! You committed the crime and the person you committed the crime against struck back at you. That doesn't prove your intuition right, that just proves that your victim was getting sick of being your victim.

But good fucking luck with your intuition defence, bitch!
