Some religious people confuse me

I don’t understand SOME Christians because someone will say ‘Jesus loves everybody equally!’ but rant about how ‘Our lord hates LGBTQ+ members!’ in the same day, I believe in the 1st statement but not the 2nd one because they just do NOT correlate! Another thing is SOME Atheists just go on about how there is NO god and tries to basically BEG people to become Atheist using excuses like ‘The only proof you have is The Bible’ and ‘Anyone could’ve written that book!’
