Make no fucking sense and have no purpose to exist now. Quick, can you easily tell me what number VIIIIVIICIIXXXIIX is? No, you fucking can't. You could however use real numbers like a normal person and just cut out the middle man entirely.

I remember as a kid the Treehouse of Horror episodes of The Simpsons would be on and it'd be like "Treehouse of Horror VXIIIIV" and I'd just be like what the fuck I can't read that.
