Radiology Resident

So I am a third year resident in Radiology. I rotate in X-ray. We have a lot of readings to sign out or make official with our consultant. I am the senior resident in X-ray rotation and I have three juniors. One junior is from duty so she left early. Another one was on leave because it was her husband's induction day as a pathology consultant or fellow. Not sure.

Well, anyway, I am tired today because no one is responsive on their phones and I am the one our consultant keeps calling. My batchmate also didn't submit our requirements for the exam so I had to be the one to do it in the afternoon.

It started this morning when our senior consultant arrived in the morning and she called me because she said she can't contact the others. She needed help to carry stuff. I was like okay doc. I'll be there with the guys. So okay, fine. She was still in a good mood. Then there was a reporting scheduled for today. It was my batchmate and he cannot really answer basic stuff. So the same consultant was already agitated. It got to a point wherein I was also asked. Thank god I was able to answer a bit. So anyway, after the reporting, there was a CT scan product presentation so her mood improved. Then she finally went home. When she left, all of us were just chilling and also teaching the medical interns. Then another younger and more hip consultant came in. We read the Xrays side by side with him to make it an official reading.

While being busy with the younger consultant, she called me again, asked measurements of the sofa. Then I measured and sent it to her. Then I sat down again, then she sent a delivery tracking link because she was gonna send a sofa for our department. I replied noted. Then I sent the link to our resident viber gc because I said that I am busy with another consultant. Then I needed to excuse myself because I needed to leave to submit the requirements. I was afraid to not make it on time and so I forgot to message my senior consultant. I forgot about the sofa. Then while driving, the deliver guy was calling. I was clicking my phone but was having a hard time so I couldnt answer. I finally parked and try to call back the delivery but it was busy. Then my senior consultant called me and I said i am sorry doc because I submitted the requirements. Then she got mad over the phone and even cut off the convo. Then I immediately called my batchmate to ask him to receive for me. Then I texted my junior and asked if he was fine because I think that consultant also called him. He said that she was angry but more on irritated than actually fuming mad. So after vibering and whatsoever, I went to our society to submit lur exam requirements.

I didn't go straight home and instead went to another batchmate's place to rant a bit. When I parked in her place, I received a message from the senior consultant and mentioned that it only took one text to tell her that I will be going out and she couldve changed the contact person to someone else. Man, I know I'm in the wrong but the sofa was received safely and everyone there was happy and sitting on it and even thanking her in the viber chat with the consultants. So as usual I just sent a message that I understand doc, I am sorry blablabla.

MAN. I am really just tired. I can't even study sometimes for the exam. Too much anxiety and even small mistakes are being made to something like it was such a big deal.

Sorry for ranting. Just needed to let things out.
