r/cuba is a shithole subreddit full of right-wing extremists. just because the communist regime is bad doesn't mean that Batista's was good: He was a better leader!the only people who glorify the communist regime are people like that can only be found if you actively look for spaces made for them. That subreddit that the average leftist supports the cuba communist regime are from right-wing extremists strawmanning.
And being from a place doesn't automatically make you an expert on it and not being from there doesn't automatically make you ignorant. it's an appeal at anecdotal evidence.
