Psychotic ex

My ex is literally psychotic. I don't mean that in the way people usually say it, as a blunt instrument because they don't like somebody's behavior. I mean this person is literally psychotic. Clinically. No grip on reality. They literally went psychotic, broke up with me, and ran away. They convinced themselves I was dangerous and fled about as far away as they could without literally going to another country. If they'd had a passport, I don't think they would have stopped there - they probably would have ended up in Argentina or something. They even told me on their way out that they never wanted me to contact them again because I was dangerous and they had to protect themselves from me. I was shocked and heartbroken because we had been together for a long time and there was nothing in their history to suggest this was even a possibility. They had depression and some anxiety, yes, but most people have at least one of those and it doesn't lead to this.

You'd hope at least them leaving would mean I would be able to take a deep breath and start picking up the pieces, but there's no amount of physical distance I can get that does me any good. They are harassing me through the magic of the internet. I can block them everywhere it's possible to block somebody, and they just find places where that's not an option to try to get through to me and publicly defame me at the same damn time.

I don't even know what my point is here, or if I have one. I guess it's just that my ex went in a matter of days from the person I wanted to spend the rest of time with to the person I wish would just fuck off and get out of my hair.
