Yes, I acknowledge that art IS NOT equal to reality.

But can we also acknowledge that people who are into fucked up shit IRL do use said art as a stand in for when they can't get the real thing.

Or use it to desensitize their potential victims to their interests?

Yes, as much as I hate the art, banning it is one step closer to government overreach.

But can we stop acting like being into fucked up shit is "cultured" and stop saying that people who aren't are "puritans".

I can enjoy freaky shit without supporting abuse material.
