Porn sucks

Has anybody else had the experience of finding internet porn as a teenager and now you’re an adult and you don’t know what to do with the knowledge about your own sexuality you wish you didn’t have? Like for example, having discovered as an 11 year old you’re into women, but you’re also into dudes dressed like women, and now you have to just live with that for the rest of your life. That’s not even the worst thing.

Do not be ashamed of your sexuality. It is not your choice who you are attracted to. It is sad that even in this day and age, so many people have to hide in the closet because people shame them for who they are.
I come from a conservative family. I got pressured into dating a guy in my community. It did not take me long to figure out that he was gay. His parents were putting a lot of pressure to finalize everything because they knew he was gay. It was sad.
Not everybody is open-minded.

So like… I get what you’re saying. I wasn’t using sexuality in the sense as in sexual orientation. I mean sexuality more as in sexual fetishes. I get what you mean about not being ashamed, but at some point it seems hard to justify. Or not even hard to justify, it’s like what’s the point of bothering.

The fetish part should be private with your partner. Do not go discussing that around. That is cheap behavior and unpolished. Again nothing to be ashamed of, it is just private. The more shame you have, the easier it is for people to manipulate or blackmail you. As long as you are not doing anything illegal, you are fine.

My point is more that for example if someone smokes, telling them not to be ashamed of smoking isn’t necessarily helpful. There are plenty of things that are legal but unethical.
