Please just don't be lazy

Please just do what you reasonably can independently. If you truly need help, by all means, ask. It is my pleasure as your husband to help you when you need it. It is not my pleasure to do what you reasonably can do without my help. I ask almost nothing of you practically. You do not work outside our home, and at home you can do whatever you want with your time and money as long as you do a credible job of basic cooking and cleaning. Even at that, my requests and standards are minimal. If we're fed and nothing in the house smells bad or is left visibly dirty for too long, I'm okay. I'm almost never home anyway so ultimately you're choosing how you want to live.

I don't care if I'm "right there doing nothing." I have a right to do nothing for an hour on the rare occasion I am awake and not working my ass off to support us. That's called rest, and I don't get any of it when I'm not home.

Please just don't be fucking lazy. I love you, you're a great husband at every other level, I just need you to take responsibility for your end of the deal.
