parents can do anything

as an 12 year old imagine this:
every day wake yourself up
make your own breakfast
your mom says gm to you like 20 mins after you wake up
pack your own lunch
walk to school (ik a lot of ppl do this)
know how to cook
weekly mental breakdowns
being the least favourite child
literally one time there was this cooking thing at school and some of these kids dont even know how to hold a whisk. like. what?
i was talking to my friend and she was like "YOU MAKE UR OWN BREAKFAST!!??"
and im like yea.....
literally on the first day of school i made my frickin breakfast.
this year like with no warning at all, im jst alone in the mornings. like i kid you not my mom is probably doing a workout downstairs. like.
last week it was my birthday and literally nothing. like i had to frikin ask her to make me breakfast. and YAYYYY a piece of bread with a side of "go wash your own fruit"
i wanted a corn dog. like thats it just after school. but nooooo its a weekday. i asked her yesterday. "go research one and we can go tommorow".
today: no ur brother prolly wants to come but hes busy then you guys have to vaccuum and mop the house then ur busy and hes busy again. "how abt tmrw?" "NO thats monday" like god forbid that even tho no one has anything on monday
so its set for next sunday. yay. she would say at least i get one.
like imagine waiting 2 weeks to get a fucking corn dog.
anyway time to go back to the 5 assignments and 2 tests that she says "arent that much"
