Due to a failed promised call back from Oregon's Medicaid agency I lost my Xtra Help prescription drug benefits. I have less than 3K per month total income, but have put enough in ABLE (income lawfully OAR461-145-0000, points 2 f & g) which is excluded as income, to me below the income line if used for medical and preventive medical expenses, which includes drug prescriptions. ABLE assures me that this is true and I should be on Xtra Help. Medicaid agency employees say even if it is in ABLE it is income that is counted and disqualifies me from Xtra Help. BOTH CAN NOT BE TRUE: THEY ARE OPPOSITE VIEWS FROM OREGON AGENCIES! I have almost $1000.00 per month in total prescription costs. My rent (the lowest in my area) is another 1K per month, without utilities. I can't afford my prescriptions as long as these agencies won't agree with each other. Two of the medications are for psychiatric treatment. I am already starting to feel suicidal without them. I have no living family members or friends who can help. I am female and 79 years old. If this continues, I won't reach 80 before I die.
