The mayor of Chicago just signed an executive order ordering the Chicago police not to cooperate with the national guard if Trump deploys the national guard in Chicago. Law enforcement vs law enforcement. I hope nothing ever happens.

Which one do you think is the crips and which one do you think is the bloods? I think the national guard is the bloods cuz Trump is republican and the police are the crips cuz they’re the boys in blue.

The Chicago mayor EO is mainly to give the Chicago cops cover by explicitly directing them to not help/cooperate with Federals or Guard in ICE raids, patrols, arrest, or any other law enforcement activities as some sort of subsumed deputized law enforcement entity of them. The order will not be any kind of legal impediment to the deploying of Federals for round up of easy catch harmless illegals as is the case in LA because going after the stated targets of gang members like MS13 et al is one to dangerous as they aren't scared of law enforcement and are as heavily armed as the Feds, and two they aren't easy to find because they are not out and about during the day doing work or gathered around a known location looking for work.
