OCPL SUCKS for employees!
The Orange County Public Library system SUCKS for those of us who work there.This is the one in California, BTW, not Florida.
The people at HQ are too conservative and bigoted. They still have a Twitter/X account despite the fact Musk is a proven Nazi. They won't let our social media team have a TikTok account because "it's too controversial." They refuse to have Drag Queen Storytime. They let managers YELL at staff in FRONT of patrons and otherwise abuse us. Especially anyone young, queer, and/or neurodivergent. They've openly admitted they want to drive out older staff so they can hire younger people for less money. They won't transfer staff that are being STALKED by patrons unless the staff involves the union.
They don't care about our health, our safety, our wellbeing, our morale. They'll transfer us to the farthest away branches, forcing us to burn more gas, without compensation, then try to claim they're "being green."
They give us training but don't actually allow us to implement any of it. If we're being openly harassed sexually or otherwise by a patron our managers ignore it. We have been filmed by Trump supporters trying to get us riled up for internet clout and HQ won't do anything to stop it.
At this point I don't care if I get fired. Then I could collect unemployment while looking for a better job.
Honestly, doing pornos would get all of us staff less f-ed over then OCPL does.
BTW, OCPL, bringing in younger staff who are more likely to fight for their rights will only bring you lawsuits for discrimination.
I hope OCEA sees this and starts investigating you for how cruel, abusive, and bigoted you are.

This looks to be a common case of the "Musk is a Nazi" Syndrome brought on by two main factors: One, Only reading legacy media who lean primarily Democrat without taking any other opinion into account any other view, meaning they themselves are receiving nothing but biased opinions, and Two, they are very obviously delusioned, shown by the fact they mentioned ACTUALLY WANTING "Drag Queen Storytime" for little kids DESPITE knowing full well that Drag Queens are most often portreyed if not pornographically then in overly sexual ways, leading to what most would call an "Unsafe environment for children" but what I like to call "An X Rated Child Unfriendly Hellscape brought up from Satan himself"
Now about Must being a Nazi, lemme shed some light on you really quick: Elon Musk is NOT a fucking Nazi! Your are just fucking stupid! Need I say more? Ah yes, you don't believe me. Well then:
One, Elon Musk is not a fascist. That was very important to the Nazis. Fascism is when an individual, often encouraged by the state, puts his country above ALL ELSE, including Family, Friends, Religion or anything else. What defines you is nothing but your country and how you serve it. Everything else comes next. Hitler put Germany over everything. Just like that is not true for Donald Trump, that is not true for Elon Musk.
Two, the Nazi Salute everyone has been calling him out for was NOT a Nazi Salute! That Nazi Salute was strict on one thing specifically, ANGLES. The Nazi's were VERY strict about their angles, including one big, important thing: The hand was to be placed at a 45 degree angle point upward, going DIRECTLY in front of you. Not to the side, Not to higher, Not lower, straight up and forward. If you look at literally ANY picture of Musk doing the supposed "Salute" than you would see he is NOT going Straight.
Also, NO SHIT they want to hire younger people they can pay less. Younger people work better, will work for less because their idea of money isn't fully developed in most cases, and are just in general the better workers. Capitalism, you see works in one very fun way: You don't work the way you want, you work the way you work best and where you work best. If you aren't suited for a job and demand high pay, YOU AREN'T GETTING HIRED, DUMBASS.
If you don't like working there, QUIT, go find another job, nobody is forcing you to be there. They are not legally allowed to force you to work there. That's the beauty of Capitalism, if you don't like something, DON'T GET IT, if you don't like your job, QUIT IT, and then if everybody quits, the company has no workers and goes bankrupt. If nobody buys your product and you keep selling, you run out of business. That's the way the world works. When you are Capitalist, the balance of the market works by you NOT GIVING A SHIT about where you work and working at the place that treats you best.
If you hate your job, GO GET A DIFFERENT ONE dumb fucking cunt.
Although, please, for the love of all that is good in this world, PLEASE do NOT get a job as a teacher, If you do, I swear in my life you will not succeed there either.
