Not A Gift For US Taxpayers

Trump's excuse for taking the Qatari $400M jet, that he doesn't want to wait for the newer AF1 is such BS -- as is everything he says. Trump knows it's going to take the same amount of time for this gift plane to be made AF1 ready: It'll have to be stripped down to bare bones and everything's going to have to be inspected for spyware and sabotage. Then it'll have to be outfitted with the defense capabilities like missile jamming, missile countermeasures, air refueling, hardening of the electronics from EMP, and a lot more that's not even public knowledge. The plane is a part of the USAF and as such the plane even though way bigger and less capable defensively than its protective fighter escorts, the plane must be able to handle itself as nimbly as possible should SHTF. This means that the plane will have to be made more structurally sound, able to withstand military tactical maneuvers similar to it's fighter jet escorts. This means the plane will have to be able to do steep vertical climb takeoffs and evasive tactics and not be ripped apart by the g force. All this refitting and military upgrades means the plane will be ready for service the same time as the current real AF1 being built. How convenient this timing is as makes the plane ready for use as Trump's personal plane after he leaves office -- that is if he really plans to leave office after this term is done.
