my mom doesn t let me hang out with friends

im 14, almost 15 .(take note i live in a Mexican household) i used to ask my mom if I could go with my friends. ever since I was 10 I always wanted to hang out with my friends. she never let me out unless i was with any family member but i don’t have any since they live in a different state. i understand I’m young but I feel like I don’t get any freedom. anyway, i wanted to hang out with my friends from elementary and she finally let me go but she said only 40 minutes. my friend’s brother drove me and went to my other friend’s house who i haven’t seen in 5 years. we talked for a bit and we got comfortable fast but 40 minutes passed, felt like 20 minutes. her mom’s cool n shit she wanted to take us to velocity and I NEVER WENT TO VELOCITY !! NEVER! so I thought that was nice of her and i had money with me and i had the break the news to her that i couldn’t go with them because of my mom. then my friends’s mom called my mom and she still said no. i felt embarrassed because i couldn’t go and all i did was talk to my friend i haven’t seen in years for 40 minutes or so and it was sad. when I come home my mom starts telling me why I’m late and i told her I’m sorry and that i didn’t forget to come home and she saw that i was upset and she said “what happened” and i did t say anything because i was so upset I wanted to cry for a bit but instead I got mad. she said “be grateful you still went to your friend’s house”, i only went for 40 minutes you think i have time to talk with my friends about everything that happened over the 5 years we didn’t see each other? i mean that’s crazy. after that she slapped me and got the belt (lol) and she said I’m not allowed to go anymore since I was upset.
