My First Rave Experience

Sooooo my first rave went great and somewhat bad experience . But first let me tell you what went down. I had a group of friends who encouraged me to go and Hard Summer was near my area. They told me no one judges you , dance however you like and most importantly, have fun!!! I was like yesssss biii I’m down af!!

I was sooo excited to attend my first rave I was already searching what inspiring fits to wear and being single let my ass stick out since the gym has been paying off hehe.

As my group and I were making our way inside , one of them told us they had a friend who’s familiar with certain people , I guess edm twitter they call it. So I met this guy , he had red hair , face full of piercings and a nice long mustache. So him and I were talking about each other a bit , he was saying how he’s been to almost every festival, he raves sober that if anything were to happen he’s got me and will make sure nothing bad happens. He also mentioned he plays super smash bros professionally and you know making me feel comfortable around him.

My group and his group all go together to a stage where we found a nice spot to dance and even relax a bit. (Mind you this is what I thought it was going good until a certain time it got uncomfortable). As we’re all dancing having a good time , I’m drunk having a blast. Some of us had to use the restroom so to not lose our spot , this guy and myself stay to save it. As we’re waiting people pass by, he grabs me from behind like through my fishnets, basically grabs my ass without letting me know and plays it off as “ohhh sorry there was a big group and I didn’t think you saw them” as an excuse to grab my ass. I didn’t think any of it and told him it’s ok just please ask or call my name so I can move over.

Our group comes back and we get more situated where there was more space . I was really feeling this guy so I gave him another chance, we danced together to two more songs until he said something that made me uncomfortable. Before that he did ask permission if he could dance and of course yessss I appreciate someone who asks politely I mean we’re here to have fun right ?!! After those songs , during another he whispered in my ear while we were dancing, “let me kiss you so you can feel my mustache tickle your lips”. I told him no and wanted to go dance with my friends. He then lied to them saying “it was nice meeting yall, my group and I are heading to another set”. I didn’t want to be a buzz kill and waited to tell my group.

After the event ended I told them on the way back to the hotel what happened while they went to the restroom and during while him and I were dancing. They got pissed and asked if he gave me any social media. The only thing I could remember was his nickname koopakid. If anyone knows who he is please confront him. I didn’t realize until now he was trying to take advantage of me while I was drunk and he was sober . Almost as if he does this quite often if I’m not mistaken. I would love and much appreciate it!!
