My Boyfriend is being a dick

My Boyfriend is being a dick

recently, im unable to stand my boyfriend. first of all, i saw him giving a girl he told me not to worry about his number, and i cant stop thinking about it. this was months ago but he never even made it sound like he replied to her! and secondly, he's gotten mad at me over him being rude to me, and has refused to speak to me for 4 days at this point. we were meant to hang out when he cancelled on me last minute by saying he was "unsure" then glaring at me and giving me one word answers when i didnt understand and still waited for him. he's also been refusing to let me near him in public when i have no one else. he knows i don't have friends but still told me to "Just go to your friends" and i cant help but feel like that was a way to make fun of me. when i finally got him tp tell me what was wrong, after apologising several times, he called me controlling for crying and said his friends were right about me. now he's being rude and is back to ignoring me. i cant help but want to leave him- it's repetitive things like this that have worn me down. reposting and following other girls. going and doing the only things i tell him i dont want him doing, he chipped my tooth by ragging me about, leading girls on, giving me the silent treatment and threatening to break up with me when i get upset. i hate him, so much, but everytime i think about breaking up i panic and can't bring myself to do it. i hate how pathetic and clingy i am. he promised to get better after threatening me several times during an argument but now he's gone back to this.

There is a cliche saying that goes "be your own best friend" but what does it really mean? It means, taking a step back and analyzing your life as if you were an outsider, a completely seperate person. Now listen, read and reflect. What would you say if this story was from your best friend in the world. All you want is what is best for them. You tell them the hard truths. You say what is uncomfortable with your only intention to help and love them. And "it goes both ways" love yourself enough to recognize that what is hard is true and for the better. Listen to yourself, your gut. And take your own advice.
Its a simple concept but very difficult to exicute..
The really beautiful thing is no one needs to know, you do this for you.
