Does Qatar still think the spend to oil the palm of the gasbag in the WH was worth a 3 year loss of production from the Ras Laffan LNG facility. Not really the positive outcome expected on their $400M Flying Palace 747 gift to then have to spend $100B to fix their LNG facility because the idiot they were buttering up claims to not have expected the facility to get bombed; or more like he wasn't told by his intelligence/defense departments that are run by incompetents not fit for the job who rely too heavily on the Global North/Western county in situ for all intelligence on the Middle East that are not reliable either. Here's a thought, the race to the nuke program this was was supposed to curtail is likely not even in Iran and proceeding right on schedule for the world to wake up to a similar surprise like May 1998.
