MANAGER?!?!?!? Boy, golly gee!!!!!

My retarded drug addicted boss speaks to me like I'm a child. I am older than they are, not to mention 1000000000X more mature. I'm an uptight weirdo in their eyes because I'm not a drug addicted, alcoholic, sex fiend, retard. They talk at me, and when doing so it's always like they are talking to a child. I do my job. I don't cut corners. I don't skip work. I don't play hooky with my sick days. I do things like I am supposed to, and it only causes me to be treated worse. Meanwhile the fuck ups get to play high school and can get away with anything. People only at this job talk about drugs, drinking, and sex. It's allowed and my boss has said quite a few things on these subjects. I know shit that I should have never fucking heard ever.

This isn't my first rodeo of being in a workplace like this, and one that is falling apart. I don't plan to be here much longer. I feel miserable about myself and life in general when I'm there from how I'm treated and all of the bullshit going on. Always a good feeling when you see your boss obsessively carrying around their drug kit.

Anyway, they had another bullshit conversation with me the other day. I think they can tell I'm miserable at the job. Also, two people have left in the past week, so maybe they're getting more desperate and scared because things already weren't stable prior to this.

They mention to me, get ready, how them and the assistant manager (whose obsessed with booze) were talking....And...........They think I can be a manager!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OH MY GOLLY GEEE???? ME??????????? OH MY GOODNESS!!!!!!!!!!!

So fucking manipulative. One, I don't even know if the "offer" was sincere. Two, it was clearly in some attempt to pacify me, like it'd give me the false hope to hold on.

Like, I've fucking been manager before, and at a place like this, it's babysitting adults. I'm not doing it.
