Took me 3 tries. My dad started teaching me to drive a car when I was 5 y/o & I did a 100 mile stint on I-95 when I was 12y/o so I knew how to drive but still failed the drivers test. The 1st fail was for "speeding", so the second test was in the car that the speedometer was mis-calibrated slower. The tester keep looking at the speedometer, but he couldn't do shit about it because it said I was within the limit. I did fail that test for and "accident" in parallel parking. I was taught to bump the back wheel to the curb before cutting into the space, and that bump counts as a accident evidently and is an automatic fail, also got flagged for not having both hands on the wheel when backing up as I got taught to throw one hand over the back of the seat to help your body turn for a better look. So the 3rd time passed, I had the mis-calibrated speedometer car, went though the proper parallel park motions but the car wasn't in the space, so since nothing else happened those points off for poor parking weren't enough to fail.
