Italy is overrated

Everything Italian (except their food because it’s yummy, I’ll give them that) is severely overrated. The language, which people say is just like Spanish, yet I can barely understand anything? Awful. The sleazy men who think they’re the best thing that ever happened to women? Make me wanna dramatically kiss my Latino husband in front of them. Their fashion, which is gaudy? Gimme a beautiful traditional Colombian dress any time! Their landscapes are pretty, but they’re nothing compared to the sights across South America. And give me 100 typical grumpy and bossy Abuelas instead of one temperamental Italian mamma! Lat Am wins, big time. And it’s not overrun with tourists in tourist trap towns, even though nothing compares to the feel of a real, busy, yet friendly Latin American town.
