Loading screens help a game's assets to load and prepare for rendering so that when the actual game is being played you aren't experiencing a laggy, buggy mess. If anything, we should be expecting longer loading screens, with how complex modern games are getting. The more assets you have in your game, the more you have to load during that time. The more you have to load the longer it will take.

If you just get an actually good computer, you won't have to worry about loading screens, they will go so fast that you will barely notice.

It's all about optimization. If you want the game to run well, it's got to load first. That goes for a Potato PC or a high end one.
