is there really anything worth sticking around for

past the age of 50? tax bills no friends no partner pets r getting old blah fucking blah. honestly im so over so much of this, people are either really moronic to converse with or barely offer anything for me to have an interest in them.

inline conversations often feel like im talking to a brick and then you offend someone just for whatever reason and its ridiculous. idk how im expected to find any decent people to be around as i get older? its not the getting old part that im scared of its that i kiterally have no friend not a single one who sticks around long enough that i can trust them in the most basic shit, i had a friend who has 100s of other friends so she doesnt need me.

once u get to 50 u basically waiting for the day u die to arrive as it is so why should i have so much to fret about as i get older? i could thearetically kill myself at any given point but whether i do or not, no one would care bc no ones really bothered to seem like theyd care if im dead or alive.

modern society is filled with junk these days i dont know what i truly like anymore or am i forcing myself to like something so im not bored out of my mind? it feels like you have to really care so deeply and be unhealthily attached to an obsession or interest or hobby rather than it being a casual moment to enjoy. its much less enjoyable nowadays to find something and stick to it when it cost so much to have basic entertainment and most of its catered to certain age groups or certain types of people and i just feel like i dont belong anywhere no matter how much i change my interests or hobbies

its just one shit show after an other, for example if you find a hobby you try to do well at it then it becomes about either needing to make money from it or those who put it on social media like to make dramas out of it so people dont really casually enjoy hobbies either

it cost so much to have the tools we need to do hobbies and then it always cost extra just to enjoy it or try to get the most out of it. for example music, its harder to go to a concert nowadays than it was decades ago, it cost so much but on top of that you need travel, accomodation any merch and food and its the same for any type of entertainment they dont make it easy then you have to find what you specifically like and thats subject to change at any point since nothing is going to be fulfilling enough in the long run or you might lose interest in it due to being unable to partake in whatever it is that you want to do
