Why is it that chinese- Indonesian mixed have a label (chindo) and are considered AT LEAST a part of indonesia, however when it comes to bule (European) - Indonesian mix they just label us as bule? Isn't it weird for a country that has a word for everything?
Besides this, imagine coming back to your home country to be spoken to in English and given the cold shoulder like an obnoxious tourist? "Ooh kamu bisa ngerti hahaha" what about me knowing my MOTHER LANGUAGE is funny?? Its not the same from when I was a kid and I was darker and had a lower nose bridge, once I grew up I tried looking for nonsurgical ways to make my nose bridge lower and makeup to look more indonesian. And since we are a minority there's no community for relating our struggles besides other mixed kids in online forums. Btw this wouldn't be a problem if they treated tourists and locals the same / if tourists treated locals nice. Being here makes me feel so inferior because no matter how I dress and what makeup I put on ill still always be a foreigner to them

I am white. I only went to bali once i was there 24 hours only... I got over 100 matches on tinder and i sornt the whole time having sex with a Indonesian girl and her friend wanted me too.... to be honest if you are mixed white they see you on a pedestal... if you want a date you probably wont have any trouble anonymous 3 hours ago
