I will never die for my country

I refuse to die for my country. I will never go to war for America.

Not because I am a coward, or because I hate America, I love my country and I will defend it to my dying days.

But I want to defend it with words, not with bullets.

Violence breeds violence, hatred breeds hatred, which is why the only real way conflict is resolved is through peaceful diplomacy.

Look at WW1 as an example. When that ended, how did it go? How long did that peace last? It didn't last because it was a peace based on hatred, and hate breeds hate, and soon somebody full of their own hatred stood up to rekindle the flames of war.

I refuse to fuel that fire. I will never fight for my country.

I will protect my country through true peace, not through meaningless violence.

We are all human, why must we condemn ourselves to such brutality?

I will support my country in the best way I can, dispelling hatred from the hearts of men who would otherwise gladly kill, rape, or torture another man or woman simply because they disagree.

War does terrible things to people, and I won't let it change me.

Instead, I will be the change I want to see in the world.

No more hatred, no more lies, no more violence, no more war, only peace.

Only when we can love can we experience peace.
