My boyfriend and I recently got into an argument. For context; we're in a long distance relationship and we like to call each other majority of the day to close the gap. For a while, I'd say about a couple weeks ago, He hung up on me to hangout with his friends randomly. He'd say "Oh so-and-so wants to play whatever-game, I'm going to join him and don't miss me that much". He'd also have me join in on their group calls or Xbox party and whatever so he can have me there, but I always felt like I was intruding and his friends thought I was so clingy that I can't bare to be alone without him for 5 seconds. I joined a group for online acting and basically roleplay (literally just acting in my opinion) so I can have something to do while he's away. After a week in, I tell him about it and how I like it and he joined in too. He's never done acting, especially with a big group of people, so I won't blame him for breaking out of character and getting too immersed into his role.
Regardless, I think he's been getting jealous of me hanging out with other people and basically be happy without him. In the argument, he confessed he was upset because I was happy. He kept saying that I deserve better and more, but then I asked him "then shouldn't you try to be better? If you think I deserve someone more and you don't want to lose me, shouldn't you try to be better?" It sounds really harsh, but I can say that because I have gotten better in this relationship and basically fucking carrying it on my back with its efforts. Whenever I missed him, I'd used to text him and get left on delivered for hours. It hurt, it really did. I told him about it and yet all he did was now "ask to go with his friends" when I just don't want him to ditch me suddenly, give me a warning before he just leaves me for hours. At least I give a warning, an estimate of when I'll be back, and text back.
It doesn't help that in the few times he got out of character; ruining the immersion for others and breaking their flow, completely breaking character to get actually mad, and ignoring the directors orders on several things -- It embarrasses me too. I haven't told him about that yet, I know it would hurt him to even say he has -- but it's getting on my nerves. And after the argument, he wanted to get intimate literally an hour later. During the sessions, he kept making sex and bed room jokes right in front of my group of friends and it was so embarrassing to me and everyone around. Like we're in public, can you seriously stop talking about how you want to fuck me? It's fucking embarrassing, not even funny, and it felt like you're just trying to get into my pants.
Now whenever he tries our usual things (cute voices, teasing, ect.) I cant help but feel annoyed.
Just the other day he got into a fight with another person; all the things he's done in the past are biting him in the ass and now he wants to be surprised? He left for a few days, came back, got into the argument, and blamed me for bring him back into it when I told him he doesn't have to.
