If the dog's not chipped, you, or a sympathetic friend who drives & you, could just take it for a long, long drive out to some wilderness area and leave it. Problem solved. If your mom wants to get another, this time you could express a preference which she might agree to. Get a poodle; they are highly intelligent and learn fast, so you won't have hardly any problems afterwards. And their coat does not have to be cut into that stereotypical style either.

Oh no, I know this rant is old but I'm hoping you see this. Do not kill him or abandon him please!!!! If he's a puppy, it's going to take a bit of time for him to understand what is bad behaviour. This is how my mum dealt with a puppy who was hyper and playful: Everytime he peed or broke something, she would show him the broken thing or his pee, scolded him, and beat his butt lightly not too hard. He understood after some weeks and is now a smart four year old puppy. Dogs don't deserve all of this abuse, please don't do anything too bad, just slap his butt if he does anything bad.

Dogs are unnatural, brain damaged mutants and shouldn't exist.

1. Dogs are degenerated from wolves (not evolved, DEGENERATED)
2. They are the result of thousands of years of selective breeding making them INBRED.
3. They are inherently mentally unstable. A scientific study finds 80% of them have anxiety. Anxiety problems = aggression, incessant barking, restlessness, separation anxiety and impulsive/compulsive behavior.
4. Because of the anxiety, most dogs are drugged. Who wants a "best friend" who has to be drugged, or constantly restrained because they're a nervous wreck.
5. They can't survive in the wild because they are completely dependent on humans. Nature hates them and will literally kill them.
6. They almost always have to be crated in the house (especially when left alone) or they will go ape-shit and tear the place apart. Therefore dogs are unnatural mutants with no true home. Like I said, the natural world would kill them immediately.
7. No animal on earth makes annoying disturbing noises like the way dogs constantly bark their heads off. Sometimes they bark at nothing for no reason. A squirrel, a leaf etc. Why are these noisy, stinky, shedding, shit-eating obnoxious beasts so overrated? Barking causes mental trauma in most people.
8. They're the only animal that threatens people for no reason. If I got a nickel every time a dog was barking and growling bloody murder at me (even when out on a walk, bike ride on public property) I'd be on Forbes list. It's not about "protection" these unstable mutants are bloodthirsty and want an excuse to maul any living thing that crosses their path. They are "fearful" of everything, even "strange humans" who they've supposedly "evolved" with for thousands of years.
9. They stink, they're filthy, they shed, sniff asses and crotches (or animals and people), they eat their own shit, other shit and toss their own salad multiple times a day. And after all that they plant wet sloppy "kisses" on their owners. /vomits.
10. They are literally retarded. Since they are a degeneration of wolves, they were bred to be "puppy-like" - floppy ears and temperament. This explains their annoying behavior and constant need to bark at every tiny thing. Mentally they are immature. Wolves grow up and they act nothing like dogs, if they did the pack would kill them.
11. They are very dangerous. Especially the larger breeds. I can't believe pit bulls, Rottweilers German shepherds, mastiffs, and other dogs bred for fighting and guarding are allowed as pets. If they're not restrained 24/7 and they get out they will attack.
12. A dog doesn't know the difference between a prey animal like a rabbit, squirrel or a 2 year old human child. A dog doesn't know the difference between a home intruder, a delivery person or a 7 year old kid who's retrieving their baseball from the yard.
13. They're not worth the effort. Let's reject the DOGma and see these inbred mutants for what they truly are: dangerous, filthy abominations.

My neighbor had a dog that would bark constantly which was 2 feet from my window, all day and all night. I called animal control many times and the city never did anything about it. I was in high school and 4 years have passed of dealing with this. I would cry out of frustration because I could never actually sleep. I literally wanted to die amongst other things only adding into the feeling. One day I opened up the wooden fence just enough for it to get curious and sneak into my backyard. Oh when I saw this nasty little white strangely hard messed up looking jack Russel terrier mixed with some god awful thing, my adrenaline kicked in, I ran out side and closed that wooden open and started to panic so he lunched at my and but my hand so I grabbed him by his head and swung him up and slammed him on the ground, he ran off into my garage freaking out knocking over everything so I took a hammer and hit him on his head and stuffed him in a large cat litter box and sprayed engine fluid and suffocated him. After that I tossed him in the trash, stuck him in the bottom. Happiest moment of my life. Oh yeah and I like dogs and cats. I HATE muts more than anything, their is something very wrong with them. The kid was in highschool and was tormented for 4 years about a dog that wouldn't stop barking and he tried to at least solve it on his own by reaching out to animal control and I'm sure he didn't give the full story. I wish I had the balls to do that, I've encountered so many dogs who just needed to be put down. This person obviously was suffering and by human nature he took it into his own hands and unfortunately it's hard to control your feelings so I can understand the extent especially after biting him that only adds on top of the years of abuse. I've had several dogs in my life. I recently got a 4 month old puppy because I'm single and friendless. I wanted this dog to be my companion. Despite hours of training he is hyper and addlebrained. Just when I think he's housebroken he will mess the floor even after being out for an hour. When I try to be affectionate to him he tries to chew my hands despite having numerous chewies and toys scattered around. He clawed my face tonight when I was petting him and now I have a scratch down my cheek. I AM TRYING SO HARD TO BE FRIENDS WITH THIS DOG AND HE IS IRREDEEMABLY NAUGHTY. Should I take him back to the shelter? I really wanted a lifetime companion like other dogs I've had but this is just the worst. This guilt is killing me because I'm honestly starting to hate him.

I am also at the end of my patience with my 11 y/o dog who doesn't seem to get older. I thought dogs don't even live to that age. This bitch is still alive and is annoying as shit. My life is busy with other stuff and this dog is soooo anxious and pees everywhere in spite of being just outside minutes ago. We have to put diapers on her. I think she is seriously that anxious and pees her pants literally. I can't stand her. She is a smart and loving little dog but she always wants to be with you and I am very much not a touchy-feely person. I realized I can only live with cats! Those are my kind of animals. I am hoping my dog is going to cross the rainbow soon, although she doesn't look like it at all. I have bad thoughts but I know I will not be able to do them. So people, no worries. I will never have another dog after this one!

I live in a apartment complex and my dog just wont stop barking at every little noise from my neighbors im so fed-up with him, he's potty trained but will deliberately pee all over the floor. I have to change his food every month because he gets bored of it and wont eat it which makes him throw up so now i have to clean his shit, pee, and vomit. I cant leave anything anywhere because he destroys it. I sent him to get trained as I thought it was just me who failed at it but he came back with the same issues Im typing this on my 4th night without sleep due to his incessive barking and my patients is running thin I don't want to but im gonna have to give him away.

I live with my mom too. where im from inflation is so bad and theres too many people moving here. if you dont make $30 an hour good luck finding a home. unless you want to live in the ghetto and risk bieng a victim of crime. (minimum wage is $17) so im currently studying and in the process of finally getting out but the process takes some time. i dont know when that time will come but my two little dogs are so fucking annoying. all they do is bark and whine and im so fucking tired of it. ever since i was in highschool. im talking YEARS! i tell my mom to get rid of them and she wont! instead she just sits and tells them to "shut up" like thats going to fucking do anything... they are potty trained thankfully but still shit the kennel from time to time. i hate these fucking animals so much!!! i grew up around small dogs and im so over it. always escaping the fences and barking at LITERALLY NOTHING! my car is broken so i literally cant leave !! which means i get to deal with the mental trauma of these retarded fucking mutts. while they interrupt my study time MY ONLY GATEWAY OUT OF THIS. otherwise i wouldve drove them to the shelter my damn self. but then id have to explain to my mom how they even got out the house. i often find myself thinking about strangling them and putting them in the dumpster. but i know deep down im not that kind of person. yall might not believe that. I have two rescue dogs that my boyfriend really wanted. I am truly a cat person but I've lived with dogs before and didn't think it would be a bad idea. Our boy rottweiler is a great dog. He ruined the leather seats in my brand new car and I forgive him and love him dearly... My other dog the female Pitbull is terrible. (Not my first Pitbull), attacks the boy occasionally out of jealousy, (we always try to give equal attention or even more to her but doesn't work) she has dirty dog syndrome from her last owners and rolls in her own shit, (like I said rescue) we've tried to toilet train for over a year with treats and positive reinforcement but it doesn't work. I will take both dogs toilet. The boy will go toilet outside the girl will come out sniff the ground then run inside and piss and shit in the house. I'm starting to think she does it for attention and I am so sick of her. So so over it. I try so hard to love her but all I feel is sadness and guilt. I don't think I ever want dogs again after these ones get old, I'm scared of ever having to go through this again. I dread the next few years with her in life. The never ending cycle of piss and shit everywhere. She doesn't have a medical condition. I think she's got some sort of trauma and attention seeking problems form whatever her last owners did to her. She's scared of tv remotes and water bowls... My dog is mentally ill and I'm miserable as heck. So no it doesn't make you horrible to hate your dog. It just is what it is.
