Husband won't do home repaired

My husband won't spend money on our 200 year old house, there is leaks in roofs, shower broken, windows broken, we have 4 children and the girls want their room done up wallpaper is hanging of he won't spend the money to decorate them, my cooker is over 35 years old and needs replaced but he can book a stag do weekend away ok fucking man child!!! Also I am a sahm told him I'm going back to work to pay for this he doesn't want that either for he would have to actually do something then... Twat

Yes, that's how it is usually done. Men think mission accomplished just getting a house, but to actually make it into a nice home, especially if it falls under "decor", that falls on the woman to pay for that, so smart idea for you to go back to work. The leaky roof though, you might get him motivated to do something about that by stressing how that's going to be a liability to the safety of the house itself from water damage and the people in it from mold because the leaks are threatening to undo his mission accomplished.
