His Parents Hate Me??

So my boyfriend and I have been together for 2.5 years. I love him a lot and we've been through so much together. I really enjoy my time with him but I can shake the feeling his parents hate me. They're a hispanic family and I'm white. I don't know if that is any problem for them because one of his cousins is dating a white girl and they love her. But anyways- We broke up for a while during the middle of 2024 and apparently his family kind of turned around, comforted him and then said nasty stuff about me. I havent seen them since we've broken up and gotten back together but I just don't think I want to see them again anyway. But that aspect is kind of just ruining the relationship because when he's home from college, they're so controlling. We went out and saw a movie last night and then this morning he got yelled at for not going to the store even though all the stores around us were closed. His mother also claimed he cares more about me than her. It's such a messy and complicated thing. I really feel like I'm wedging between him and his family.
